The cosmic rebirth you didn’t ask for? (Or did you!?)
Beloveds,
Have you been feeling that brain-on-fire feeling of late? Perhaps like me, expending some extra mental energy trying to figure out ALL the things. Attempting to figure out WHY something is or is not the way it is? And how perhaps you can even CONTROL what is happening?
Welcome to Gemini season, made even more spicy by Uranus, which also happens to be squaring the nodal axis. Not to mention what Pluto, Neptune and Chiron are up to (which I speak to in the video below).
All of this to say, there’s A LOT happening in the cosmic playground right now. With the headline being that you, me and everyone we know is at a karmic choice point.
Over these coming months, we get to decide if we’re gonna play small and keep to the oldy moldy programs, structures and familiar ways of living and BEing. Or we get to be like the genius Fool in the Tarot and step into the great unknown, trusting that there’s a greater life waiting. Trusting in the pure potentiality of YOU as creator.
But here’s the rub, the existential pain point. As Papa Campbell said, “You must be willing to get rid of the life you planned so as to have the life that is waiting for you.”
Change is scary. And come on, you planned your life for a reason. As in, it’s what you wanted. (Or at least it’s what you thought you wanted.)
Sometimes change brings you something that is very much unwanted. (Ask me how I know!) Think job loss, rupture in a relationship, a crappy diagnosis, a heartbreakingly empty nest, a home loss, financial strain.
However, when viewed through Campbell’s lens, change also brings you to your greatness – if you choose to step over that threshold and become the hero in your own life.
We are in apocalyptic times. This is undeniable. But please remember the true meaning of apocalypse which is revelation, unveiling, to disclose.
It feels apocalyptic “out there” because the wool is being pulled from our eyes. Because what we believed in and supported and hoped would believe in and support us is false.
This karmic choice point is to stay in that comfort zone of deception and the illusion of safety. Or to create something entirely new with the energies that are here to support revolutionary change.
This astrological configuration last happened in the 1500s. And it wasn’t nearly so exact. And it certainly wasn’t preceded by Neptune conjunct Saturn at 0 degrees of Aries. This year, these energies – they honestly may never have existed before in the history of time. (Whatever time is, anyway…)
It is a very, very big deal. And when that static-y, brain-on-fire feeling happens, it’s super easy to lose sight of all of this, to lose sight of YOU as creator.
What you need now is to slow down, create internal space, hug a tree.

Some things to remember: Some trees need fire. You are not who you think you are. There’s no growth in your comfort zone.

Take it from the Tunes. We need each other now more than ever. Part of the illusion we’re (ideally, hopefully, please for the love of goddess) waking up to is the myth of separation.
There is no US vs. THEM. It’s a lie. And a curse upon us. It’s painful because it requires you to deny yourself, your own humanity and our shared humanity. It’s a means of top-down control and manipulation. A house divided cannot and will not stand.
I repeat. There is no Us vs. Them. There is ONLY US. All of us. Together. On the singular side of love. On the singular side of humans. On the singular side of the earth. We need each other. And the good news is that we have each other.
