HOME is the result of a year-long, collaborative, community-focused art project that explored the effects of the housing market crash on the small city of Tracy, California. In San Joaquin County, where Tracy lies, more than 36,000 homes have been lost to foreclosure since 2006. This project, Inhabit Your City: Voices of Tracy was realized through interviews of 92 residents of Tracy and resulted in the poetic documentary HOME, a multi-media exhibition, and an artist catalog. This project was made possible in part by a grant from The Creative Work Fund, a program of the Walter and Elise Haas Fund supported by the generous grants from ArtPlace, The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, and the James Irvine Foundation.
